Dr. Goldwaser works with industry and leads clinical research. Those relationships are listed here, in one place, so every patient and colleague can read them before any conversation about care.
Industry relationships
- Lipogems International — Key Opinion Leader and consultant (2020–present). Educational and advisory work related to microfragmented adipose tissue.
- Bioventus — Key Opinion Leader, consultant, and medical-education faculty (2026–present). Educational and advisory work related to orthobiologic products.
Research roles
- ARISE trial — Principal Investigator (2023–ongoing). A clinical trial comparing Lipogems microfragmented adipose tissue with corticosteroid injection for knee osteoarthritis (NCT05660772).
- ARPA-H NITRO — Co-investigator (2024–ongoing). A multi-center research program funded through ARPA-H.
Research participation is voluntary and entirely separate from clinical care. Enrolling in a study is never a condition of receiving treatment.
These relationships do not determine treatment recommendations. Clinical recommendations are based on the diagnosis, the imaging, the current evidence, the alternatives, and the patient’s goals — not on any industry relationship. When a recommended product or procedure relates to a company listed above, patients are told so directly, and every consultation includes a candid discussion of alternatives, including the option of no procedure at all.
