Medicolegal
Independent opinions for legal and administrative proceedings.
Medicolegal work is a separate practice from clinical care: objective, evidence-based, and independent of any treatment relationship.
Services
Objective analysis, clearly documented.
Engagements are accepted for plaintiff and defense counsel, insurers, and administrative bodies alike. The opinion follows the records and the examination — not the retaining party.
Independent medical examination
Comprehensive in-person evaluation with a written report addressing diagnosis, causation, apportionment, and functional capacity as requested.
Medical-record review
Thorough review of records and imaging with a written opinion on diagnosis, treatment appropriateness, and causation questions.
Causation analysis
Evidence-based analysis connecting — or declining to connect — a claimed injury to the incident or exposure in question.
Deposition & testimony
Clear, defensible testimony grounded in the records, the examination, and the published literature.
How engagements work
- Engagement begins with a signed agreement and a defined scope — never with treatment
- No doctor–patient relationship is formed in medicolegal engagements
- Opinions are rendered to a reasonable degree of medical certainty and documented in writing
- Scheduling and fees are arranged directly with the retaining party
